Diamonds are the hardest material on earth, 58 times harder than anything else in nature. It is the only gem made of a single element: It is typically about 99.95 percent carbon. The journey of a Diamond always involves a great deal of effort. Tons of earth and countless hours of labor are needed to being a gem from mine to market.
